Are you a compassionate and professional Healthcare Assistant looking to work in a prestigious luxury care home in Ashford?
Nursdoc is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team, supporting residents within a beautifully appointed, high-quality care setting. This is an excellent opportunity to provide exceptional, person-centred care while working in an environment that values dignity, comfort, and excellence.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life, promoting independence, and ensuring every individual receives the highest standard of care and support.
What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a UK healthcare setting
- A caring, professional, and positive attitude
- The ability to adapt to residents' changing needs with confidence and compassion
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to delivering outstanding person-centred care
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Nursdoc
Key responsibilities:
- Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, whilst maintaining residents' dignity and privacy
- Assisting residents with mobility and ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Supporting residents with daily activities and encouraging independence wherever possible
- Promoting social engagement, companionship, and participation in meaningful activities
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver exceptional care
