The government have to make sure that they are providing very clear instructions to the public and they also need to make sure that they are providing a much more personal approach. This is the only way that they are going to be able to stop hospitals from becoming overwhelmed by a potential second wave of the virus. Cindy Marudamuthu was the matron for various infectious diseases at the London University NHS Trust when the first wave of the virus was sweeping the nation and she has stated that she became very frustrated that not everyone was following the guidelines regarding social distancing.
