The NHS Board in North Wales has been put into special measures yet again by the government. They have cited concerns with the leadership and the culture. Of course, if you work in any kind of nurse agency or if you work as part of a nursing recruitment agency then you will understand how much pressure the NHS is under right now. If you work in care jobs or if you work in a carers role then you will understand how much pressure the NHS is under right now. he RCN have said that the organisation is being put into special measures and that they have informed the board that this is going to take place with immediate effect.
Eluned Morgan has announced on Monday that the university for Betsi Cadwaladr has been put into special measures and that this is going to take place with immediate effect. The chair and the vice chair, along with other members of the board are going to step aside to try and accommodate this. The health board were in special measures in the past and that this is going to be the case again. This is the worst out of the four ratings and the intervention scheme is run by the government. The status means that right now the board is not making the improvements that they have to make and now more action has to be taken. Action is going to be taken to improve the health of the board and it would seem that there is now a lack of consistency. This is within the efficiency, quality and safety of the service. Who knows what the future holds but right now it would seem that more steps have to be taken to ensure that things change for the better.
