Join Nursdoc in providing compassionate care at a welcoming nursing home in Reigate (RH2).
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents’ independence, wellbeing, and comfort, while building meaningful connections in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist residents with safe mobility, daily routines, and provide support in emergencies while following safety protocols.
- Deliver personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity, respect, and responsiveness to individual needs.
- Encourage resident participation through companionship, social interaction, and activities.
- Observe and monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting changes promptly to the care team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a UK healthcare setting (e.g., nursing home, care home, community).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one through Nursdoc).
- Reliable, adaptable, and attentive to residents’ needs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
