HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT (SUPPORTED LIVING)

Nursdoc is seeking caring and reliable Support Workers and Carers to join our team, providing high-quality support to individuals living in supported living services across Folkestone and the surrounding areas.

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a UK health or social care setting
• A caring, professional, and positive attitude
• Confidence in supporting individuals with varying needs and abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred support
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Nursdoc

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care where required
• Encouraging independence and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
• Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping
• Supporting individuals to access the community, attend appointments, and participate in social activities
• Promoting choice, dignity, and respect at all times
• Monitoring, recording, and reporting any changes in wellbeing or support needs
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to provide high-quality support
