Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily needs while helping to create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment.

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a UK care home, nursing home, or healthcare setting.
• A caring, compassionate, and professional approach to supporting others.
• The ability to adapt to changing care needs and work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A reliable and flexible attitude towards work.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Nursdoc.
• The right to work in the UK and the ability to travel within the local area.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Supporting residents with mobility and ensuring their safety at all times.
• Assisting with nutrition and hydration, including supporting mealtimes where required.
• Promoting independence, choice, and dignity in all aspects of care.
• Encouraging social interaction and participation in meaningful activities.
• Monitoring, recording, and reporting any changes in residents' health, well-being, or behaviour.
• Communicating effectively with nurses, carers, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
