We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Live In Care Assistant to support dedicated one-to-one care packages in East Sussex.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering a unique 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off working pattern, making it ideal for candidates seeking a healthy work-life balance. During your working rotation, you will have your own private bedroom within the client's home.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality one-to-one complex care within the client's home.
- Support the individual with their daily clinical and personal care needs.
- Follow personalised care plans and clinical protocols.
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care records and adhere to safeguarding policies.
Essential skills & experience:
- PEG feeding competency.
- Acquired brain injury.
- Spinal cord injury.
- Bowel management/care.
- Medication administration
- Manual handling competency.
- Previous experience delivering complex care in a homecare setting.
- Minimum 1 year's UK care experience in a similar role.
- Valid Enhanced DBS (issued within the last 12 months or registered with the DBS Update Service).
- A compassionate, professional, and confident approach to delivering person-centred care.
