Mental Health Nursing Report Warns that Risks are Being Lost

If you work in a nursing recruitment agency or if you are currently part of a nurse agency, then you will know how important it is to make sure that everyone is being taken care of. This is even the case when you look at carers and those who work in care jobs. Unfortunately, though it doesn’t look like this is going to be the case. A new review has launched, and they have warned that mental health nurses are being lost because not enough action is being taken. The mental health nurses who are working in the industry right now have lived experiences when it comes to mental health and the use of services in general.

When it comes to setting the challenges that nurses are facing right now it would seem that the vacancy rate is far too high amongst nurses who have the right level of training and there is also a huge number of nurses who are leaving the workforce too. If changes are not being made right now, then it is concerning to see that numbers may go on to impact the industry more than they are right now. The report has welcomed many applicants when it comes to the study of mental health and it has also helped to flag issues, such as the number of mental health nurses who are working is now lower than it ever was.

This is not good, to say the least and it shows that something has to change. If not, then this could have major ramifications for the future. Of course, only time will tell what the future holds but right now it looks like things are reaching critical levels and nurses themselves are starting to suffer as a result which is not good.
