Are you a compassionate and experienced Complex Carer looking for a rewarding role within an educational setting? We are currently recruiting for a 1:1 Complex Carer to support a student in a school based in Biggin Hill, Kent.

Role details:
- Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 (8-hour shifts)
- Days: Monday to Thursday (no weekends)
- Contract: Ongoing with the potential to become permanent
In this role, you will provide 1:1 support to a student with complex needs. The student has epilepsy with drop seizures and requires continuous supervision, as well as support with a PEG feeding tube.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 care and supervision within the classroom
- Monitor and respond appropriately to epileptic seizures, ensuring safety at all times
- Support with PEG feeding and associated care
- Assist the student in accessing education and participating in daily school activities
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and healthcare professionals
- Observe, record, and report on the student’s health and well-being
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a UK healthcare or care setting
- Proven experience in complex care, including epilepsy and PEG feeding
- Relevant epilepsy training and practical experience
- Confident, adaptable, and able to respond to changing needs
- A caring, patient, and professional approach
- A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Nursdoc
- Driver with access to own transport due to location
