Nursdoc is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to support individuals within the Leeds area.
We are looking for reliable and dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care within community and home-based settings. This role is ideal for candidates with previous support work experience who can promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing while providing tailored support to individuals with complex needs.
Essential skills & experience:
- Experience in support work, ideally supporting individuals with:
- Brain Injury
- Epilepsy
- PEG Feeding
- Learning Disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team
- Person-centred approach to care and support
Key responsibilities:
- 12 hour shifts 8am - 8pm
- Delivering safe, effective, and person-centred one-to-one support
- Supporting individuals with their daily living activities and personal care needs
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to any changes in needs or behaviours
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and social inclusion
- Following personalised care plans and risk assessments
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to safeguarding procedures and company policies
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 1 year's UK care or support work experience in a similar role
- Previous experience within Complex Care, Supported Living, or Home Care settings
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes
- Valid Enhanced DBS (Registered on the Update Service)
- Compassionate, professional, and confident in supporting individuals with complex needs
