HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT (NURSING HOME)

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life, promoting independence, and ensuring every individual receives the highest standard of care and support.

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a UK healthcare setting
• A caring, professional, and positive attitude
• The ability to adapt to residents' changing needs with confidence and compassion
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to delivering outstanding person-centred care
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Nursdoc

Key responsibilities:

• Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining residents' dignity and privacy
• Assisting residents with mobility and ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Supporting residents with daily activities and encouraging independence wherever possible
• Promoting social engagement, companionship, and participation in meaningful activities
• Monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team to deliver high-quality care
