Refugee Nurses are Now Hitting the UK

A nursing refugee and a trained nurse who is now working for the NHS has come out to share their experiences of being able to adjust to a new life in Britain. They are also going to celebrate International Nurses Day as well. The nurse came to the UK under the refugee program after he had to flee his home in Palestine. If you work for a nursing recruitment agency, then you will know how much is being done to try and make sure that nurses like this are being given the support that they need. Nurse agency workers are also having to expand their role as they have to account for carers jobs and care jobs being taken by people coming from abroad. The Palestinian nurse worked in Lebanon, and this is where he worked various roles. He was even the nurse manager of a Covid department at one point. Only time will tell what the future holds but the government probably need to do more, to try and make those who work in carer jobs get more funding.

You have to work in the UK to be able to complete the survey. This comes around a decade after Sir Robert Francis published his findings and when he launched an enquiry into the former NHS trust. This is commonly known as Mid Staffs. The Trust came under a lot of scrutiny and a lot of this stems from the high patient mortality rates across various hospitals. Stafford Hospital has come under a lot of concern and a lot of this comes from families. Sir Robert has also chosen to carry out an enquiry because of the staffing levels that are currently in dire straits. To mark the milestone the Nursing Times have run some of the questions regarding the survey once more and this is great to say the least.
